I’m inching back to a graphic novel I started but set aside in 2020 because I realized I had a lot to learn about making comics.

I love the use of a timer. I use them a lot (mainly to limit my online rabbit-holing), but I've never thought of using them in sketching like this. Ace. And that desk! It's just like my dad's. Love it.

I love my desk, too. An amazing thrift store find that had a lot of interesting paraphernalia still hidden in its drawers. Glad that my approaches might be helpful for you!

The happy accidents, yes! I’ve been thinking of using bus time for working on simplifying my people sketching instead of reading. This is good impetus. Thanks for sharing your lessons and process!
